10/07/2008--Arrived
in Gaeta, Italy after a 200-mile overnight passage from Sardinia.

09/23/2008--Arrived
in Sardinia, Italy after an overnight passage from Menorca.
-
07/17/2008--Resumed our sailing trip in Southern
Spain.
-
04/14/2008--Gyatso was hauled
out of the water and is being stored in a boat yard near Gibraltar in Sotogrande,
Spain for three months.

03/09/2008--Departed
Lagos, Portugal after wintering-over there...headed east toward the
Mediterranean.

10/15/2007--For
a variety of reasons we
have decided to spend the winter here in Lagos, Portugal.

10/01/2007--Returned to
Lagos, Portugal after a one-week (land-based) visit to the Rabten Choeling Center for Higher Tibetan
Studies in Mont-Pelerin, Switzerland

06/22/2007--Arrived in Lagos, Portugal after successfully
crossing the Atlantic as part of the ARC Europe Rally 2007. Click

05/07/2007--Arrived
in Jolly Harbour, Antigua for the start of the ARC Europe Rally which is
scheduled for Thursday, May 10, 2007. Visit the World
Cruising Club website for event news and daily position reports as
we sail to Bermuda, the Azores and then Portugal.

04/21/07--Arrived in
Rodney Bay, St. Lucia, hauled the boat out of the water, and re-painted
the bottom as part of our scheduled annual maintenance.

03/31/07--Arrived in
Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, for our second visit as we head
north to Antigua. Completed annual brightwork maintenance.

03/03/07--Arrived in Grenada after visiting St.
Vincent and the Grenadines

02/14/07--Arrived in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia after visiting
Dominica and Martinique

- 12/01/08--We
arrived in the U.S. for a 6-week holiday visit.
- 11/27/08--Jayne
of s/v Aorangi joined us onboard for a Turkey Day feast.
- 10/09/08--We
took a one-week trip inland to Tuscany to join Lisa's
family and to celebrate her mom's birthday.
- 9/23/08--We
arrived in Italy today.
- 7/11/08--Gyatso
was re-launched today in Sotogrande, Spain.
- 6/1/08--In
Switzerland for month-long seminar at the Rabten-Choeling
Tibetan Center while the boat is hauled-out.
- 4/16/08--We
arrived in the U.S. for a one-month family visit.
- 3/04/08--We
were elected as members of the Ocean
Cruising Club.
- 1/16/08--Suze
and Jon, Lisa's sister and brother-in-law, arrived in Portugal for a six week
visit.

- 11/30/07--We celebrated
Thanksgiving aboard Gyatso with Austrian friends, Peter and
Annemarie of s/v Onyx.
- 11/07/07--We
are back in Lagos after a medical emergency took us to Portimão and
Lisbon for a few weeks. All is well now.
- 10/05/07--Our
friends Mark and Kate from California visited us in Portugal. We spent
one week together in Lisbon and Porto.
- 10/01/07--The
ARC Europe Rally 2007 is featured in the October issue of Yachting
World and the fall issue of World
Cruising Club magazines.
- 09/24/07--We took a one-week
trip to visit the Rabten-Choeling Tibetan
Center in Mont- Pelerin
Switzerland.
- 08/12/2007--Returned to
Lagos, Portugal after stateside visits and a return trip to the Caribbean
for a family wedding.
- 07/07/07--Our daily logs,
photos and position reports from the ARC

- 05/01/07-- The log of our trip to the Great
