In the morning of Day 3 we saw the
speck of a sail under this perfect white fluffy cloud with a
rainbow. We figured that whoever was on the mystery boat was
blessed. |
 |
It turns out that the speck of
sail we saw at daybreak was Borborygmae (Bobo). They flew their
spinnaker and sailed several miles out of their way towards Gyatso. |
 |
Bobo passes by to say hello on Day
3 of the leg from Antigua to Bermuda. |
 |
Their gentlemanly pass to leeward
affected their spinnaker only briefly before they zoomed off to take first
prize overall for the leg to Bermuda. |
 |
Bobo sails off into the sunset as
weather begins to build in. |
 |
As Bobo approached Gyatso,
it was great photo ops all around. Lisa was on watch, and David was
down below when they passed which left the crew wondering if Gyatso was
being single-handed or double-handed (photo courtsey of Bobo). |
