Water Music Trophy Awarded

David Barker and Lisa Borre, owners of the sailing yacht Gyatso, were awarded the Water Music Trophy at the annual meeting of the Ocean Cruising Club in Southampton, England on 26 March 2011.  The award is given to 'the member who has provided the most useful cruising, navigation and pilotage information'.  The couple's website logbook at www.gyatso.net and their contributions to the OCC's cruising information website were among the achievements cited in making the award.

David and Lisa are taking a break from full-time cruising this year in order to write an updated cruising guide to the Black Sea to be published by the Royal Cruising Club's affiliate, the RCC Pilotage Foundation.  An e-pilot version of the guide will be the first product available for download, followed by a CD-ROM and/or print versions of the guide.
